Bob Osborn, our
featured author, was born in 1949 and grew up at Enfield
Lock, Middlesex, England. His family lived opposite the Royal Small Arms Factory (RSAF) where all
his family had worked - dad, mum, aunts,

Bob's interest in guns and weapons
began before he went to school - he remembers playing in
the field that separated his house from the factory with
the constant sound of rifles and machine guns being
tested on the factory ranges. "It simply added to the
realism of our 1950's games of war" he recalls.

since. Bob owned a huge collection of bayonets from
around the world, numbering many hundreds, but recently

finest collections of British bayonets in private hands.
