This is an edited, electronic version of The Tank
Corps Book of Honour by Major R F G Maurice,
published in 1919. It lists, in order of battles and
seniority, those who received awards but here the names
have been arranged in alphabetical order. Citations, in
this book, are given only for those receiving Immediate
Awards.
A brief
account of the main battles of the war that involved
tanks is given in Despatches. Messages of
congratulations from various units are given in
Compliments, and Special Orders include Brig-Gen Elles'
message given on the eve of the Battle of Cambrai.
