The History of the
Somerset Light Infantry
Volume 1:
1685-1914
Out of print since the 1930's (and with original copies
currently selling for over £300) this rare and
invaluable regimental history of the Somerset Light
Infantry is now available in an electronic format. The
original volume comprised twenty seven chapters in over
400 pages and charted in fascinating detail the history
of the regiment from its founding in 1685 until the dawn
